Hornall Anderson

Really impressive work and online presence from Hornall Anderson. Featured here are some of the assets from their latest effort for the launch of Google’s G1. They also maintain a blog, which is unique in that it is timeline-based, horizontal format, and all flash (not to mention they just posted about Philly!)

Antigirl | Tiphanie Brooke

Long time friend (and fellow hustler) Tiphanie Brooke – Nom de Guerre Antigirl - is simply never not working. Through the years Tiph and I have virtually grown up together, online and through our work since around 2002. Sometimes I feel like we are eachothers counterpart, she’s the girl version of Neuarmy and vice versa. I’ve always been impressed with her passion and drive as well as her ability to always reinvent herself through her work, but still remain consistent. One of the things that has always set Tiphanie apart is her handskills and craftsmanship. Along with creating beautiful collage work, as in her new Hearts series, Antigirl also produces limited runs of handmade journals, notebooks, and screenprints.

Always impressive, always on point, and steady on the grind.

Designlab

Clean work coming out of Designlab.  Grid usage and typography is solid, although the site isn’t the best from a usability perspective.

Sailor Jerry

Great collection of tattoo flashes from Norman Collins, aka Sailor Jerry. The man many see as the father of the deftly crafted, boldly lined, balls-forward Old School Tattoo. The kind fueled by the devil-may-care appetites of men far away from home. Learn more.

The Grid System

Amazing new Grid resource site from my friend Antonio over at Aisleone. A grid resource like this is way overdue, thanks for putting this together sir, brilliant.

TDR | The Typographic Desk Reference

The Typographic Desk Reference looks interesting. You have to respect any book that has Ellen Lupton’s name attached to it.

Pepsi Max | Lonely Calorie

Obviously suicide is nothing to take lightly, so I’m not so sure how I feel about the concept/messaging in the new Pepsi Max: Lonely Calorie ads – but the execution is pretty stellar.
