Completely enjoying the new site for Kokoro & Moi. They showcase a wide range of work that’s diverse in terms of palette, typeface, shape, and application. I all feels very fresh and energetic. They must have a lot of fun with their projects, and it really shows through the work. — Kokoro & Moi is a multidisciplinary design consultancy specialized in brand identity and development, creative direction, visual communication and interaction.
mcbess | Matthieu Bessudo
Diggin’ the style of illustrator/director/musician Matthieu Bessudo aka mcbess. The guy does it all, and does it really really well. Below is one of his many illustrations, as well as a music video for The Dead Pirates track, Wood, directed by mcbess&Simon and produced by The Mill. He also has a new book out from Nobrow Press. Aerosyn-Lex Mestrovic is a designer, typographer, and creative director of The KDU.
Not to mention an all around solid dude. I’ve had the honor and privilege of working with Lex on some really great projects, ranging from his stint as creative director of URB magazine, to his creative direction of The Royal Magazine and extension of limited edition print pieces, and also showed along side him in a group exhibit in Chelsea. Lex is always doing some of the freshest work out there while remaining modest, true, and forward thinking.

My friend Darren just updated his personal site. It’s hard to keep up with this guy, he’s always into something amazing. From WIWP to Two Faced, to his studio, blog, tons of great print work, or building clean online experiences, he’s always producing incredible work. He’s been an inspiration to me, and is so good it actually makes me insane.
